NICICO ERP, finance, HR & reporting modules
NICICO ran its budgeting, HR and reporting processes through an ERP where each specialist team had grown its own conventions around the same underlying data, making a routine budget allocation or headcount request slow to trace across departments. The engagement analyzed how each of those specialist processes actually worked before redesigning the interface around them.

Overview
In the financial allocation module, a request moves through a multi-step approval chain, consultant, related deputy, program and budget unit, program and plan deputy, financial manager, financial deputy, agent, with the requested amount, allocated amount, remaining balance, and both financial and physical progress visible at every step. Status statements tied to a contract and budget period sit in a searchable, exportable list, so the finance team can tell at a glance which submissions are pending review versus approved. The same interaction patterns carried over to the HR allocation module and a report-builder tool that let teams assemble their own recurring reports instead of requesting a custom one each time.
Consolidating these processes onto one consistent interface increased transparency into where a request stood, and produced a marked improvement in operational efficiency across the organization.
