Food Mood, employee welfare app

Agah Brokerage ran its employee welfare program the way most large firms do: meal orders taken over messaging apps, loan and insurance requests filed as paper forms, each one routed to a different person in HR or finance. Food Mood replaces that patchwork with one internal system, installed straight to an employee’s phone as a Progressive Web App.

Overview

The home screen surfaces a live wallet balance alongside the services people reach for most, today’s menu, loan requests, insurance top-ups, welfare aid, while a dedicated requests hub indexes everything else an employee can ask for: leave, salary slips, employment letters, marriage gifts. Ordering a meal is budget-aware: picking a dish shows the remaining monthly food credit before confirming, filtered by cuisine, site and delivery date, with a same-day cancellation window.

Mechanizing what used to be manual paperwork cut the back-and-forth for the executive and HR teams handling requests, and gave employees a self-service front door instead of chasing someone down for a status update.
